Elections are more than forums, issues, and ballot-casting. Elections are about communities coming together, so, in an effort to lighten the mood, here is some stuff just for the sake of having fun.

"Davis is the Little Tomato" by Rob Roy. All great cities have a nickname; New Orleans is the Big Easy, New York City is the Big Apple, etc. This song tries to capture some of the uniqueness of Davis in comparison to other places that have nicknames. It is a lovesong for our town. Feel free to refer to Davis as the Little Tomato.

"Gotta Elect Rob Roy" by, the best ukulele player in Davis, Gary Saylin. I had a conversation with Gary Saylin (a local librarian, reoccurring troubadour at Avid Reader, 35 year resident of Davis, and Ben & Jerry's regular) about the platform issues of my campaign and the next time I see him he tells me he wrote a song inspired by our conversation. So now we're sharing it with you.
